My review of COASTLINE RESIDENCES
I visited the showflat in early April 2019. It is not located at the actual site itself, but on a vacant plot of land at Kitchener Link (behind City Square Mall). The sales gallery also houses the One Meyer showflat, which is great if you are also interested in the Meyer Road location.
The developer is Sustained Land, which has a number of developments in Singapore, including One Meyer and III Cuscaden at Orchard Boulevard. As background, Sustained Land acquired the former Parkway Mansion site in an enbloc sale in Dec 2017 for $1536psf.
Coastline Residences is a freehold project located at 9 Amber Road in D15, and will be just 2 minutes walk to the upcoming Tanjong Katong MRT of the Thomson-East Coast line. It is close to the underpass next to Chinese Swimming Club, which will lead you to East Coast Park (5 minutes walk). Condo facilities include a 50m lap pool and garden terraces on every level. There is a roof garden with infinity pool and BBQ area.
There are a total of 144 units. The units are of 1 bedroom (452sf), 2 bedroom (710-743sf) & 3 bedroom (1109-1130sf) types, with many of them having panoramic sea view.
I was impressed with unit layouts. For example, the 2 bedroom unit showflat has quite functional layout and feels very liveable. I feel that any buyer interested in the Amber Road area should take a look at Coastline Residences, and compare it with the other 4 freehold launches in the same area.
