Lutheran Towers – condo review

This is my review of a 1916sf unit in this condo that I marketed previously.

At Lutheran Towers, you will enjoy its location at the heart of a landed neighbourhood in Bukit Timah, and its proximity to good schools and excellent amenities.

Botanic Gardens and its connecting MRT station will be at your door-step, while you will be pleasantly surprised that the grounds of this development are still in delightfully good condition.

From the moment that you walked into the apartment, you will be pleased with its spaciousness coupled with a bright and functional layout, which fits 4 bedrooms + maids room + store room. There are only 2 units on every floor. From your living room, you will see greenery, while you will delight in the view of the landed neighbourhood from your kitchen and 2 of your bedrooms.

The original layout has a balcony, but in this unit, the owner has totally enclosed the balcony so that the balcony space is now part of the big and spacious living room.

Most of the units at Lutheran Towers are in their original state. But not this unit. Renovation about 5 years ago cost this owner more than $150k including changing of the hidden pipes.

Monthly maintenance approx.$250.

Completed in 1974, Lutheran Towers (total of 76 units over 20 storeys in 2 blocks) is a 103-year leasehold development located at 21-25 Tan Kim Cheng Road in District 10, minutes walk to the Botanic Gardens MRT Station (interchange station of DTL and Circle Line). It is close to several established schools, such as Nanyang Primary, Hwa Chong Institution, and National Junior College. It is also near to Serene Centre, Adam Food Centre and Coronation Shopping Plaza.
